Electrolytes Powerhouse. Ingredients:
  • Olives
  • Chia Seeds
  • Walnuts
  • Honey
  • Sun Dried Tomatoes
  • Hemp Seeds
As a way to combat muscle crumps in endurance athletes, combining these ingredients into a portable snack might be a novel idea!
Olives – good source of vitamin E, iron, copper, calcium and sodium. Chia Seeds – high in calcium, magnesium, phosphorus and protein. Walnuts – high amount of magnesium. Raw Honey – high amount of carbohydrates, reduces muscle fatigue. Sun Dried Tomatoes – provide vitamins C and K, iron, and lycopene. Hemp Seeds – great source of vitamin E and minerals: phosphorus, potassium, sodium, magnesium, sulfur, calcium, iron and zinc. Instructions:
Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl and make a large flat block (to be cut into smaller bars) or balls.
